The Empath Academy is a coaching and mentorship community established by Trauma-Informed Coach and Yoga Teacher Natalie Grospitch in 2020. The community was originally established during the pandemic on Facebook as a place for Empaths to connect, practice yoga together, and learn self-regulation and trauma-integration techniques. Within just a few months of its inception, the Empath Academy quickly grew to over 4,000 members and expanded to include the offerings and programs of various coaches, experts, and energy healers. Over time, and after several iterations, The Empath Academy has evolved to focus on helping empathic healers to master their energy healing and coaching skills via The Energy Healer Certification program. 

Yes! While The Empath Academy Energy Healer Certification is geared primarily towards empaths who are already working or attuned in the energetic or healing realms, it is absolutely not required. There are no prerequisites to join the program, other than a desire for self development and the motivation to learn and grow.  

The Energy Healer Program is completely self-paced and all pre-recorded content, assessments, and assignments are available on demand through the course portal. Live group calls over Zoom are optional (though encouraged) and private calls can be scheduled with Natalie and Cricket according to your availability. 

Natalie Grospitch and Cricket Enos have both been in the coaching and energy healing industry for over a decade each. 

Natalie has a degree in Art Therapy and Psychology from Mercyhurst University and has been a Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher for over 10 years. She is a certified Life and Success Coach, Reiki Master, Neuro-Linguistics Programming Practitioner, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner, TIME Technique Practitioner, and Neuro-Energetics Practitioner through The Belief Co Coaching Method. Natalie has been coaching and mentoring Empaths as a full-time career since 2020. She has created and facilitated 4 Signature Programs including The Empath Academy Signature Course, Enlightened Entrepreneurship, Indigo Activation, and The Trauma-Informed Lightworker Certification. She wrote and published The Ultimate Empath Workbook in 2024.

Cricket Enos is a shamanic practitioner, Reiki master, Hatha Yoga teacher, and sound healing practitioner with over a decade of experience. She has been continually working with the Paqo Kuna tradition, a medicine tradition held by the Q’ero people of Peru and Bolivia, a path of shamanic nature mysticism, apprenticing under Curandero Don Zane Curfman since 2014. She later went on to study under Akara Gilligan, a Magdalene Priestess of the Rose Line of Sophia, and became an initiate on the Venus Path in 2022. In the Amazon, Cricket worked with Maestra Estella Pangoza, a Shipibo medicine woman and the Principal of The Aya Madre Healing Center outside of Iquitos, Peru. She completed her Anatomy of Awakening training program to become a Breathwork Facilitator at The Breath Center of Ojai, CA and then returned to the Peruvian Amazon to work more comprehensively with the Shipibo and with plant medicines under the guidance of Curandero Maestro Enrique Lopez Fasanando. Her work with the Sacred Feminine Mystery School and Lineage of the Venetian Path is ongoing.

Yes. The prerecorded lessons are on an online course portal and the live calls take place on Zoom. All calls are recorded, so you can request the replay if you are unable to attend live. 

Yes, you will have access to the curriculum indefinitely.

Yes. The monthly Energy Healer Circles and bi-weekly Moon Ceremonies all take place with the entire Energy Healer community. In addition, you will be added to the Facebook group message thread upon enrollment so you can receive updates, ask questions, and connect with others in the program at any time. 

You will receive support and access to group calls for 12 months, but you are welcome to complete the certification as quickly or as slowly as you like. While some highly motivated individuals have completed the certifications in 2 to 3 months, there is no time limit for completing and turning in the assignments. 

While some experience in reiki, yoga, massage, or other hands-on healing modalities are encouraged, no prior experience or prerequisites are required. What is most important is a deep desire to learn, grow, and expand your knowledge of energy and healing. 

You will receive 3 certificates upon completion of the program. Those certificates include:

• Trauma-Informed Practitioner Certification

The program is self-study and self-paced, so it is up to you to decide how you would like to pace your progress and how you would like to utilize the year of group support that you have access to. It takes approximately 60 hours total to complete the pre-recorded portion of the program, so you are welcome to spread out the time spent on the curriculum and assignments however you deem fit.
